Hi from the UK

This is where you need to make a post telling who you are and what your 501st Legion ID number is (if you have one). You are not required to be a Legion member to participate on this forum but you must be at least 18 years of age.

Hi from the UK

Post by Ageofstrife »

Not yet a 501st member, still researching and looking for info on what to buy and what to avoid. Been a SW fan since I was little, now in my late 40s looking to relive my childhood :)

Ideally looking for UK makers of helmet and armour, but they seem pretty thin on the ground. I'll have a good dig through the forums while I'm figuring out where to start.

I've seen photos of the TM, and it does look. The new RS Props looks really good too. Need more pennies :)

Hi Dan and welcome to the Blizzard Force detachment!

As already mentioned both TM and RS are located in the UK and both are recommended. Maybe you should have a look at page 3 and 4 of the comparrison thread: viewtopic.php?f=115&t=3580&start=30. Hope this helps.

Good luck with your TS journey :D

Yaaay another potential UK snowie! Hope you get sorted out and trooping.

Troopermaster make great kits! I have an RS kit that does the job and recently purchased one of their screen accurate helmets that should arrive soon. Ask around as to what people prefer in terms of kits. Each have their pros and cons, all matter of personal choice really.

Welcome ..... Can totally relate to wanting to bring your childhood to life! I still re,e,her rhe battle of Hoth scenes at the movies as a very young girl, dragged to the movies wirh my dad. Who would think 30 something years later I’m a Snowtrooper! It’s the best!

Good luck with your choice of armour both TM and RS are great vendors.
