Hello from MI

Post by slvrcrest »

Greetings from the winter wonderland of Michigan. I just wanted to introduce myself and am hoping soon to join the ranks of a Snowie.

My name is Andy and I currently a Jedi in the RL side. I was going to do a pilot next. But with all the snow we're gotten this season, I've wanted to get this one done sooner than later.

I've gotten my fabric already for my duster, pants completed, found a place to get the mukluks, and the armor is getting pulled by one of my garrison members. My goal is to get this done before the spring thaw.

Here are some pictures of my stuff. I was able to get the pattern sized up and will be cutting the fleece this week. I'm hoping to be able to try on the duster by this weekend.

Interesting, this is only the second time I've seen this kit, the last time it came from North Carolina. Could you PM me more information about the maker for my armor database?

My armor is almost completed. Just waiting on a new pull for the chest, thermal det, and the back of the helmet. I'll have pictures next weekend.

One question, what is the best way to dirty the armor? I've seen a few different approaches on this board and on other sites.
