Looks so familiar...

Nice job! Why 2 DL kits?

It looks like your bells could come down a tad; so the bottom edges are touching the sleeves.

I brought my first set 5 years ago. It sat in a box for 3 years. Then DL told me he had done heaps of upgrades to his armour moulds. So I sold my old one and brought a new one. It took me another 2 years to finish it because I have about $250 a year to spend on this hobby.

TE2--very nice. It's looks like the hand plates have excess material around the edges to be trimmed. Is that the way they are supposed to look?

Nice one Bro. I had never thought about it before. They are velcroed on. I'll take them off and trim them.

The actual hand plates used in ANH were made from honey-colored latex, painted white, and glued on to the back of a pair of rubber chemical gloves. There are a few vendors for these, over at the FISD and MEPD. I use these when I troop as a TD myself; they do get hot, but with a pair of cotton gloves inside, it´s really not a problem. I actually find them more comfortable than having the hard plastic plates, as the latex ones will flex and bend as you move your hand.
