This has since been disproved as a screen shot showed up showing it the other way so either way is now accurate. The majority still have it as instructed though.

The space in between the 2 red dots is 1 inch so I'd say the squares should be about 3/16th inch to a side.

Any hint about the measure in centimeter? Here we don't use inches... So, I have no skill to convert the fractions...

Any guess? I don't want to make anything now that could bring me another "update".

3/16th of an inch is about 0.5 centimeters. Or more precisely, 0.48 centimeters.
